How
to use the Disk
Cleanup Wizard in
Windows XP to clear
out the clutter
and reclaim valuable
storage space.
1. Press the Start
button, go to All
Programs
> Accessories
> System
Tools >
Disk Cleanup.
2.
You will be asked
which drive you
want to scan. Select
Drive C
and press OK.
3.
The wizard will
now scan your hard
drive, this may
take a few minutes.
4.
Once the scan is
complete you will
see a list of tick
boxes for the different
areas of your computer
that you can recover
space from (Fig.
1).
5.
Tick the areas you
want to clean up
then press OK.
